Creekmoor (continued)

While we were still in Florida, the word had gotten out that we were building a new home in Missouri, and thus our existing Missouri home would be for sale. That winter I had two different people that were interested in our Missouri home. The real estate agent, that sold us our lot in Creekmoor, had actually showed our Missouri house twice before we got back. I also got a personal call that winter from a couple that wanted to downsize into our home. When we got back to Missouri in May of 2020, we showed the house to the interested couple and then sat in our screened in patio and closed the deal. We got our asking price and were able to stay in our home until we could move into our new Creekmoor Sonoma home, which took place in late September of 2020.

Nancy started making plans for the move immediately thinking we would be moving in early July as promised. When closing time finally came around, much of our garage was stacked high with over one hundred boxes. My daughter, son-in-law, and grandson came to Missouri and helped with the move. Professional movers brought all the boxes and heavy stuff in two loads the four miles north to the new home.
